Paw Prints is the student-run newspaper of Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, California. The paper is published every Friday, with the exceptions of major holidays. The staff also puts out 8-10 editions of Paw Prints Daily during a two week period prior to the end of the school year, in addition to two editions of Paw Prints Summer.
Our paper is an open forum dedicated toward representing and informing all members of the Wilson community. We gladly encourage letters to the editor which we publish online and in the print edition. Comments or story ideas can be submitted in the feedback section.

An open forum, Paw Prints encourages the written opinion of its readers in the form of assigned letters to the editor or longer commentaries on topical subjects.
While we recognize the individuality of all forms of expression we reserve the right to edit and/or censor that which we feel necessary in accordance with California Education Code 48930 and standards of good taste.
All communications must be signed. It should also be understood that the views expressed in this publication do not necessarily reflect the opinion of individual Paw Prints staff members or the policy of Glen A. Wilson.
history
The first edition of Paw Prints (monthly) was published in 1967 and became a weekly paper in 1988. Currently the paper is under the direction of adviser Jeorgia Moore, who has been with the staff since 1978. Since then, Paw Prints has changed dramatically. Hard work from Mondays to late Thursday evenings is rewarded by infamous "Journalism Food Days." Sporadic bonding trips throughout the school year, including a getaway banquet at the end of the year, also define Wilson journalism.
Paw Prints Online, created in 2003, has been a long delayed project undertaken by a few members of the past staff. Although there is no separate online staff, we hope that in the future Paw Prints Online will expand to better serve students and community members.
